Welcome to the Morning Star Farm Ministries
Discipleship Trail
As you, your family, friends or group embark on this trail you will find it a bit different. Each station is meant to give an opportunity to physically and mentally engage with God's Word and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You will start with the reminder that Jesus is our Rock and Firm Foundation. From there you will journey, station by station, as you hike the trail through the Bible interacting with stories, parables and passages. We need Jesus and we need His Word to lead us. Enjoy this interactive experience, seek God in prayer and meditation as you walk, share the stories and parables with your children. You may want to read the instructions and Bible verses before bringing your family to the trail.
Instructions
Each station has a sign with a Heading, a Passage, and a QR Code. Scan the QR code to begin and you'll be taken to the instructions for that station.
Before Coming to the Discipleship Trail:
Tell your kids that you’re going on a hike but along the way there will be places to stop and do things. There will be some free play time and structured time. Doing all of the interactive stops in one hike may be too much. Pray together that the time is impactful and unifying for everyone.
Parents may want to read through the activities and scripture ahead of time.
After:
Read a passage from the trail with your kids in the weeks that follow. Most of the passages are short and can be read very quickly. You can also refer back to what you talked about when you were doing the activities during everyday conversation.
Our Hope
We pray that you and your family, will be rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Jesus Christ, and that you know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
